Classic Football Shirts – The Classic Mystery Box

What's in the box: Typically a surprise football shirt picked from the retailer's stock of classic, retro or recent club and international kits.

Classic Football Shirts is a well known UK retailer based in Manchester. It specialises in vintage, retro and recent football shirts and stocks a very large range of club and national team kits from around the world. The Classic Mystery Box is its surprise option. You do not pick a specific shirt. The team picks one for you, and you find out what it is when the box arrives. If you collect shirts and enjoy not knowing what is coming, this can be a fun way to add variety and find kits from leagues you might never have browsed. The obvious downside is that you give up control. You might get a club you have no attachment to, or a design you would not have chosen, so fans with strong loyalties should think carefully first. The site does not clearly say how often boxes ship, whether this is a recurring plan or how items are chosen. Read the product page and returns policy closely before you buy. Mystery shirt offers like this usually let you choose a size, and that matters because fit varies between makers and eras. The retailer's reputation and its focus on genuine, official shirts are real strengths. Overall it is a solid pick for open minded shirt fans, but less suited to anyone who wants one particular team.
