Mystery United

What's in the box: Each box contains one football shirt from a club you don't choose, and the box type can limit it to Champions League or European clubs.

Mystery United is a Dutch shop that sells mystery football shirts. You choose a type of box and get a shirt from a club you don't pick. The Classic box costs £40.00. The Champions League box costs £62.00 and guarantees a club from that competition. The Europe box costs £44.00 and always contains a European club, and there is a Kids box at £31.00. If you want shirts on a regular schedule, the site offers season boxes, but its main page does not say how often they ship or what they cost. The most useful feature is that you can exclude clubs or colours in the basket, which lowers the risk of unwrapping a rival's shirt. The shop says its shirts come from all over the world, so expect smaller leagues as well as bigger names. The store policies are good: a 100-day return policy, same working day dispatch on orders placed before 5 pm, and free shipping from £86. The site shows a 4.6 out of 5 Trustpilot score from more than 1,400 reviews. The catch is the usual one with mystery products: you cannot choose the club. The site also does not say whether shirts are current season or older designs, or whether they are fan or player versions. Treat it as a fun gamble or a gift, not a way to get a specific kit.
