Closed. The domain is parked or for sale; the service is no longer running. Launched in July 2013 from the Brandery incubator; no activity found after 2014 and no closure notice was found.
What's in the box: When it was running, each box was a care package meant for a college student, but the exact contents are no longer documented anywhere on its site.
Co-Ed Supply is no longer operating, and its web address now leads to a domain sale page instead of a working store. The service launched in July 2013 out of the Brandery, a startup accelerator in Cincinnati, and its aim was to send care packages to college students in the US. Parents, relatives or friends could have a ready-made box sent to a student living away from home, so they did not have to put one together and mail it themselves. We found no sign of activity after 2014. The company also does not appear to have posted a closure notice, so there is no official word on what happened to existing subscribers or open orders. With the site gone, you cannot sign up, manage an account or contact customer support. Details such as what went in the boxes, what they cost and how often they shipped are no longer available. If you want to send a student a care package, look at other options. Other college care package services and general snack or self care boxes meet the same need, and some colleges and parent groups run their own seasonal care package programs. Think of Co-Ed Supply as part of subscription box history, not something you can order today.
