Harlequin Reader Service

Moved. The old site now redirects to harlequin.com.

What's in the box: A monthly selection of hand-picked romance, inspirational, suspense, or mystery novels in print or ebook, matched to the reader's chosen genre or series.

The Harlequin Reader Service is not operating normally at its old address: readerservice.com now redirects to harlequin.com, so it should not be treated as an active, standalone subscription. When it ran, it was Harlequin's mail program for romance readers, which the site said fans had loved for over 50 years. Members began with a Welcome Box or an Ebook Welcome Collection. After that, hand-selected books in their preferred genre came each month, either shipped to the door or added to a Harlequin.com ebook shelf. The site promised that books would arrive before they reached store shelves, and it said subscribers could pause, skip, or change their plan whenever they needed. There were plenty of options. Genre subscriptions included the Harlequin Book Box, the Christian-focused Inspired Book Box, a Cozy Mystery Box, Essential Romance, and Essential Suspense. Series subscriptions covered Harlequin's well-known category lines, from sweet to spicy, in print or ebook. Special Collections offered a set number of shipments with no ongoing commitment, such as an Inspirational Historical Romance Collection and Christmas sets from Love Inspired and Heartwarming. Because the old address no longer stands on its own, there is no way to confirm that any of these plans still work as described. Anyone curious should look at Harlequin's own site for whatever it offers now.
