Kisetsu-en Bonsai Online (Morten Albek)

What's in the box: The site does not say what a typical shipment contained, but the service focused on shohin bonsai material and related supplies.

Kisetsu-en Bonsai Online is no longer operating. The shohin-europe.com website does not load, and the domain has previously shown only a parked page with third party sponsored links. Morten Albek ran the service. He is a Danish bonsai grower known in the European bonsai community for his work with shohin, which are very small bonsai trees. Kisetsu-en was the name of his garden and his online presence, and it was aimed mainly at hobbyists in Denmark and the wider European market. When it was running, the site focused on shohin bonsai and offered material, supplies and guidance for people who wanted to grow and display small trees. The site does not say how a recurring box or delivery worked, what it cost, or how often shipments went out, so those details are unknown. The domain appears to have lapsed into parking, so you can no longer place an order, contact the business through the site, or manage an existing account. If you want shohin trees or supplies today, try an active bonsai nursery, supplier or club near you. If you bought from Kisetsu-en in the past, keep any records you have, because support through the original website is no longer available.
