Pasta Evangelists began as a fresh pasta delivery service and has grown into a wider brand with restaurants, a pasta bar in Harrods, pasta making classes, catering and gifts. For subscription shoppers, the part that matters is the cook at home recipe kits. You get fresh pasta and sauces to finish yourself, chosen from a menu that changes each week, and you can pick dishes up to three weeks ahead. Your account handles both subscriptions and one off orders, so a recurring plan is not the only way to buy. The current menu is seasonal. It includes orecchiette with pistachio pesto next to regional classics such as carbonara with pecorino romano, beef and Chianti ragù, and a porcini and chanterelle mushroom sauce. Barilla's venture arm has owned a majority stake since 2021, but the brand still runs as its own business. That points to solid backing without turning it into a supermarket label. The main drawback is focus. The site promotes restaurants, hot delivery and events at least as heavily as the kits, so you have to dig for subscription terms, portion sizes and delivery coverage, and the site does not state them clearly up front. Hot delivery only makes sense if you live near one of its restaurants. If you want good fresh pasta at home for little effort, it is a well established choice.
