What's in the box: When it was running, each box held an assortment of trading cards and sports cards for collectors to open.

Pokbox has closed. Its website at pokbox.com no longer loads, so you can't order a box or manage a subscription right now. When it was running, Pokbox was a subscription box for collectors in the US. It sent trading cards and sports cards on a regular schedule so you could open them at home. A service like this saves you from hunting through stores or online listings for packs, and you get the surprise of not knowing what will show up. With the site offline, we can't confirm what each box held, how the plans differed or what the shipping and cancellation terms were. If you used to subscribe, check your bank or card statements to make sure no recurring charges are still going through. Contact your card issuer if you see anything you don't expect. If you want a card subscription today, pick one with a working website, clear descriptions of what's in each box and a published cancellation policy. If you mainly want specific cards, buying sealed products or single cards from established retailers gives you more control over what you get. We will update this review if Pokbox comes back.
