Romanzi.it

What's in the box: There is no box: you pick and buy individual novels from a curated catalogue, with romance as one of many genres.

Romanzi.it is an Italian online bookshop, not a traditional subscription box. It does not mail you a surprise package on a schedule. Instead, you search a hand-picked catalogue of 1,607 novels by genre, theme and style, then buy the titles you want. Romance readers get a dedicated Romanzo rosa genre filter. You can combine it with themes such as love, betrayal and jealousy, or hope and rebirth, and with moods like moving, sweeping or delicate, to find the kind of story you are after. Each result shows an affinity score for how closely it matches your choices, which helps if you are tired of generic bestseller lists. The site says its selection is made entirely by human experts. Shipping is free on orders from 25 euros. For anyone shopping for a subscription, the main drawback is that the site does not describe any recurring plan, delivery schedule or surprise element. If you want a monthly romance box at your door, this is not it. Romance is also only one of many genres, so the romance shelf is a fraction of the full catalogue. The site is entirely in Italian, which suits its home market but makes it harder for anyone else to use. Treat it as a carefully curated way to choose your next love story, or a gift for a reader in Italy.
