What's in the box: When it was running, the service rented out board games for you to play at home and later return.
Rent, Shuffle and Roll has closed, and its website no longer loads, so you can't order from it or manage an account. It was a UK board game service, and as the name suggests, it was built around renting games rather than selling them. Services like this let you try games at home without paying full retail price for titles that might only come off the shelf once or twice. You play them for a while, send them back and pick something new. For households new to the hobby, or groups who like plenty of variety, that approach can make good sense. Little about how this particular service worked can be confirmed now that the site is offline. We can't check its plans, how many games arrived at once, how long you could keep them or how returns were handled. If you were a customer and still have rented games or an open payment, your bank or card provider is the best place to start for help with charges. If you want to rent or discover board games, choose a service that is still trading and that clearly explains its terms before you commit.
