The Care Crate Co

What's in the box: A themed mix of snacks and candy in full and snack sizes, sometimes with gift wrap or small extras, depending on the crate you choose.

The Care Crate Co. sells snack gift boxes that you buy once and ship to someone. The menu also has a Subscribe & Save option for repeat orders. People often find it when searching for military care packages, but the site doesn't mention service members, APO or FPO addresses, or deployment shipping. If you're sending to a base overseas, confirm with the company before you order. What the site does offer is a wide range of themed crates. There are candy boxes, a men's hearty snack box, microwave snack packages, birthday and encouragement crates, holiday and seasonal boxes, and corporate gifts. Build-your-own birthday and encouragement crates start from $45.99, and the ready-made boxes shown cost $49.99 to $55.99. The company says it has vegan and gluten-free options and that orders can reach recipients within a couple of days. Products show star ratings mostly in the mid to high 4s, though some items have only a handful of reviews. The site is clearly active and is running seasonal promotions, but its blog hasn't been updated since 2022. Overall, it's a solid pick for sending snacks to a student, relative or coworker, and a reasonable one for a service member stationed in the US. It isn't a specialist military care package service.
